Absolutely the best food! First time I tried gumbo and thought I wouldn’t like gumbo and it was so good. Their hush puppies were amazing the best I have ever had the jumbo shrimp and scallops were amazing as well the lemonade was really good too. This food was absolutely amazing I recommend it everyone and the service there is good and the the owner is a really nice personable guy. We have been there now 2 weeks in a row very reasonably priced as well

This is a hidden gem in Oakland. We tried a few things on the menu. The shrimp was the star of the show for us! The portions are big so consider sharing. The red velvet cake was good too. This place should be in your regular rotation to visit, when your not in the mood to cook.

So, I ordered catfish combo, 4 wings combo, shrimp (had to drive back because it was left out of my order… major inconvenience) coleslaw, red beans and rice with a chocolate cake. The food was good. I didn’t care for the wings .

i always get the sole and it's always seasoned perfectly. all the sides are worth it and they have lemonade slushes that r great too. the fish is better than the chicken tho, sometimes it comes dry

The sole was deeeeelicious. The only problem was the order sent to the store over 10 miles from my house. Not the store that was 3 miles. Good thing we were out for a drive. Phone and website orders be aware.

Only item I have to remember not to get is the mac n cheese. It’s yellow, but not cheesy at all.
